Welcome To Audio Addiction Studio

At Audio Addiction, my studio is designed specifically for tracking drums. Since all of my drums are high end Sonor they all use the same mounting hardware. Based on this, I designed my mic setup to connect to multiple racks and are permanently mounted correctly phase aligned. When I change drumsets I can do so without messing with my phase alignment.

The mics are not mounted right onto the drums, they're separate. They're mounted almost identically to how Gavin Harrison does it. No cross talk, no strange hums.

*For most situations I'm not going to be using six toms. You'll only be getting the tracks for the toms I actually used. Just because my studio setup is large doesn't mean I'm going to over play. I'm a very musical drummer with great ears. I play appropriately and for the song. I don't enjoy playing "too much". My setup is large becauase there are situations where I require it and a lot of the things I write personally require it. Having a large kit in the studio gives me a world of options without having to mess around adding things.

Room :

The room at Audio Addiction is oddly shaped, with strange wall angles to combat standing waves.
