Here's something I whipped up this morning. Nothing fancy but I just wanted to show you guys some cool things you can do with acoustic drums using effects.
These were recorded using a Zoom H2. Placed about a foot off the ground, a foot and a half in front of the bass drum facing away from the kit. Only thing after that was I dumped the raw wavs into cubase and then added an effect to each. They were recorded on the kit pictured below. Enjoy!

This is some sound check goofng around from a session with Dr. Hotbottom & The Soul Prescription. Eight minutes of me just playing around. Completely raw files, nothing done to them. From the mics, to your ears!
Delite 22X17, 10X9, 14X14, S-Classix 14X5(Die Cast), 14" HHX Legacy Hats, 20" HHX Legacy Ride, 21" Signature Fierce Ride. (On the actual session, the drums stayed the same, but I also used a 19" HHXtreme Crash, 20" HHX Legacy O-Zone Ride and 21" HHX Legacy Ride._
