I'm the kind of person who really appreciates the right tool for the job. That being said, I top of the line Sonor drums in all their high end woods. (Maple, Birch, Beech). A very wide variety of Meinl's from their Byzance and GenX lines, also, for when I need to be REALLY strange, pretty much all the Hammerax Hybrid Effect Cymbals. Whatever the situation calls for, I'm prepared.

Toms: Beech Heavy (12ply 8mm). Basses: Beech Medium (9ply 6mm). High gloss stratawood exterior, Makassar Ebony interior, chrome hardware, slotted rods.

SQ2: Beech Vintage

Toms: 6 ply 4mm shells with 3 ply 2mm dynamic edge. Basses: 9ply 6mm with 3ply 2mm dynamic edge. Makassar Ebony high gloss, chrome ahrdware, square rods.

Floor Toms: 14x14, 16x16, 18x18

Delite: (Pre 2007) Brilliant Black

The trademark of the Sonor Delite Series is the sound spectrum provided by the extremely thin vintage maple shells. These give a Sonor Delite set an unmistakably open sound and an enormously wide range for practically all styles of music. The sound characteristics of the individual shells are characterized by a soft, warm tone that highlights the lower pitches and provides balance in the mid-range and treble.

With its thin birch shells made of Scandinavian birchwood, this series offers a convincingly pithy and compulsive sound with powerful treble and mid-range pitches and well-balanced deep tones.
